Runablaze athletes compete @ USATF Club XC Championships
Dec 13, 2014 - USATF Club Team XC Championships (Bethlehem, PA) - Runablaze Iowa competed in the USATF club team cross country championships. The women ran together with Casey McDermott 101st in 21:55, Erin Moeller 178th in 22:04 and Emily Eimers 129th in 22:22. They initially had six athletes entered, but it whittled to three a few days prior to the meet, not enough to score as a team. The men were led by Zach Baker 60th in 30:41, Ben Jaskowiak in 178th in 32:03, Chris Robertson 197th in 32:11, Scott Gall 261st in 32:59, Tommy Ries 286th in 33:16 and Nate Hopp 319th in 33:42.

Nov 27, 2014 - Evanston Flying Turkey 5k (Evanston, IL) - Marie Schofer won the women’s title at the Evanston Flying Turkey 5k in 18:15. Her husband, Dan, was the 4th male in 17:25.

Runablaze Iowa is based out of Des Moines with club members statewide. Our mission is to develop and support post-collegiate, Iowa-based distance runners. We aspire to be competitive at individual and team events at the local, regional, and national level in the sports of road racing, track & field, and cross country.
