Susie Duke runs 2:42 marathon on 'training run'
Nov 1, 2014 - Indianapolis Monumental Marathon (Indianapolis, IN) - Susie Duke ran a 14 minute PR to finish in 2:42:35 for 4th place in the Indianapolis Monumental Marathon despite poor weather. She intended on running this race as a training run but recorded negative splits of 1:21:26 (first half) and 1:21:09 (second half). Her finishing time was 25 seconds faster than the "B" Olympic Trials standard.
Susie Duke wins IMT Des Moines Half Marathon
Oct 19, 2014 - IMT Des Moines Marathon (Des Moines, IA) - Susie Duke won the 13th Des Moines half marathon in 1:18:20. Danna Herrick was 3rd women in 1:20:26. Mason Frank was 9th in the marathon finishing in 2:26:19, a new PR. Ben Jaskowiak easily won the Des Moines 5K in 15:33.
